In a tragic incident this morning, a bus traveling from Pokhara to Kathmandu met with an accident at Byas-5, Sirdi, Tanahu, resulting in injuries to 27 individuals. The bus, bearing the registration number Ga 1 kha 9635, reportedly lost control at Sirdi and plunged approximately 50 meters off the road, according to a source from the Tanahu police.
Responding promptly to the incident, a police team led by SP Avadesh Bista has been deployed to the scene to facilitate rescue efforts. Out of the injured passengers, nine individuals in critical condition have been referred to a hospital in Pokhara for further medical treatment. The remaining injured individuals are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Damauli, as informed by Police Inspector Rajkumar BK.
