Manchester City beat Bayern

Manchester City defeated Bayern Munich 3-0 in the Champions League quarter-final first leg as Erling Haaland set the record for the Premier League player with the most goals in a single season.

After this win at home, City has strengthened its chances of reaching the semi-finals.

Haaland, who scored the third goal in the game, set a record with 45 goals in one season. He has set the record for scoring most goals in one season among Premier League players. For this, he broke the record of Mohamed Salah and Ruud Van Nistelrooy. Both scored 45 goals in the same season.

Rodri gave City the lead in the 27th minute at the Etihad Stadium. Bernardo Silva doubled the lead by scoring in the 70th minute. Haaland scored in the 76th minute.

Now on April 18, City will play the second leg at Bayern’s ground.

In another match, Inter Milan beat Benfica 2-0. Nicolo Barella scored for Inter in the 51st minute and Romelu Lukaku scored in the 82nd minute at the Benfica ground. The second leg will be played on April 18 at Inter’s ground.
